Duck, Down & Above to Hold Hands-On Duck Cooking Class

LEESBURG, IN (September 5, 2012) – The Maple Leaf Farms company store, Duck, Down & Above, is offering its hands-on duck cooking class for the month of September. The “Hands On” cooking class is scheduled for September 13, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Maple Leaf Farms World Headquarters in Leesburg, Indiana. 

Maple Leaf Farms R&D chefs will instruct small groups in the preparation of Quinoa Salad with Duck, Duck Quesadillas, Black Beans with Duck Bacon and Duck Breast with a Latin Sauce. The class is designed to enable participants to dive in with both hands to prepare dishes from start to finish, learning the ins and outs of the properties of the food they are working with for the recipes. Participants will enjoy the night and leave with a full stomach.

Class groups will consist of 4-10 people. The cost is $40 per person. If you are reserving for a party of 6-10 people, the cost is $35 per person. All spots are on a first-come, first-served basis as class size is limited.
