Duck, Down & Above to Host Chef Cooking Demonstration

LEESBURG, IN (January 25, 2013) – The Maple Leaf Farms company store, Duck, Down & Above, announces that a chef cooking demonstration will be held Tuesday, February 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Maple Leaf Farms World Headquarters.

Chef JD Cheney will present three recipes in his presentation, “Cooking with Curries.” Each of these recipes takes a different twist on the use of duck. The recipes include Ethiopian Roasted Duck Curry, Indian Panang Ground Duck Fried Rice, and Duck Confit Thai Green Curry.

Chef JD is a private chef based in Maui who grew up in South Bend and has over 16 years of experience as a professional chef.

The cost is $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door, which includes a sample of the dishes prepared by Chef JD.
