Duck, Down & Above to Host Sara Moulton for Cooking Demonstration

LEESBURG, IN – Sara Moulton, cookbook author and James Beard Award nominated host of “Sara’s Weeknight Meals” on PBS, will perform a special cooking demonstration on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Maple Leaf Farms. Duck, Down & Above, the Maple Leaf Farms company store, is hosting the demo, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the demo kitchen at 101 E. Church St. in Leesburg, IN.

Maple Leaf Farms has been a sponsor of “Sara’s Weeknight Meals” since 2012 . Moulton has featured duck in several episodes of her show, and has worked with the company at a number of food events. This demo will mark the first time that she has been to the company’s world headquarters in Leesburg, however.

The demo will feature several recipes designed by Moulton, utilizing Maple Leaf Farms duck products. “Sara is an excellent teacher known for her accessible approach to cooking,” says Duck, Down & Above store manager Ryan Walker. “Attendees of this demo can expect down-to-earth instructions on how to prepare a delicious family-focused meal.”

Tickets to the event cost $35 per person. Attendees will all receive a free Sara Moulton cookbook, which they will have an opportunity to have autographed by Moulton following the demo. Those interested in purchasing tickets should call Duck, Down & Above at (574) 453-4455.
