Duck, Down & Above to Hold Cooking Demonstration

The Maple Leaf Farms company store, Duck, Down & Above, is holding a hands-on cooking demo for creating summer dishes. The event is scheduled for July 9, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Maple Leaf Farms World Headquarters in Leesburg, Indiana. 
 
Peggy Roulo, “The Cake Lady” from North Webster, Indiana, will demonstrate how to create a light, stress-free summer menu featuring Maple Leaf Farms duck.  She has had numerous years of experience as a gourmet caterer and also specializes in making beautiful cakes for all occasions.
 
Peggy will prepare five dishes during the cooking demonstration: Bruschetta with Duck Confit, Blueberry Edamame Lettuce Salad with Blueberry Vinaigrette, Tuscan Style Duck Breast, Pasta Primavera, and Fresh Mint and Cherry Floats. Attendees will have the opportunity to help with the cooking and sample the dishes.
 
The cost is $25 a person in advance.  All spots are on a first-come, first-served basis as space is limited.
