FAYETTEVILLE, AR (December 14, 2009) - Maple Leaf Farms, along with Tyson, Cargill and eight other food companies, sponsored "Top Chefs and Rock Stars 2009." The annual fundraising event for Peace at Home Family Shelter took place in December at the Fayetteville Town Center.

Through this event, more than 1,000 attendees had a chance to sample food prepared by locally and nationally renowned chefs competing for Top Chef honors in six categories. The event raised more than $40,000 to help victims of domestic violence in the region.
