WARSAW, IN (March 24, 2010) – Maple Leaf Farms was one of this year’s “Honor Roll” level event sponsors for the 11th Annual Community Quiz Bowl held by the Warsaw Education Foundation on March 23.

According to the Warsaw Times-Union newspaper, 39 teams participated in the quiz bowl with all proceeds from a silent auction and sponsorship fees benefiting the Warsaw Education Foundation. The Warsaw Education Foundation provides funding, through community support, to advance enrichment opportunities, innovative and inventive teaching, and academic exploration in Warsaw Community Schools.

During the quiz bowl, five-member teams were asked four sets of 15 questions from four different categories with a total of 60 possible points. The Kosciusko County Bar Association was named the eventual winner of the quiz bowl with 55 points. The Maple Leaf Farms team consisted of John Tucker, Joel Harstine, Tony Flesch, Fred Clemens, and Ron Buhr.
