Mighty Bites Chicken Partners with the Chicago White Sox

Chicago White SoxMILFORD, IN (June 5, 2009) -- Maple Leaf Farms Mighty BitesTM chicken has signed on as a 2009 sponsor of the Chicago White Sox, providing Mighty Bites with an array of marketing and on-site promotional benefits.

One of the special features is the Speed Pitch, of which Mighty Bites will be the sponsor. Fans can test their arms at the Speed Pitch radar gun located in centerfield of the main concourse Gate 3 on the Upper Level or children 13 and under can visit the Fundamentals Deck. One dollar off Mighty Bites coupons will be given away at these areas.

"Working with the White Sox is a great opportunity for Mighty Bites to connect with the Sox’ loyal and enthusiastic fans in a fun way," said JT Croy, marketing manager for Mighty Bites. "We look forward to introducing our product to Sox fans while helping Chicago retailers grow their sales."

Among the sponsorship programs are:

  • Selling Mighty Bites on two levels at US Cellular Field.
  • Running two messages on matrix and LED boards at US Cellular Field - one before and one during each game directing patrons to the concessions and Speed Pitch areas.
  • Having Mighty Bites logos and mentions included in television and radio programming.
  • Appearing in one edition of promo cards - coupon books handed out to the first 20,000 fans at each home game between July 17 and August 19 featuring a buy one-get one free Mighty Bites coupon.
