2014 Chef Category Grand Prize Winner: Duck & Sweet Plantain Lasagna Pastelon
Submit up to three (3) original recipes that showcase Maple Leaf Farms duck in creative new ways for a chance to win one of these great prizes in one of two categories.

Chef Category: Grand Prize $10,000; Four (4) Additional Finalist Prizes of $1,000 each
Chef Contest Flyer. To enter the Chef Category, you must be an executive chef, sous chef or lead line cook in a restaurant, catering company or non-commercial foodservice establishment.

Student Category: Grand Prize $2,500 plus $1,000 worth of duck products to the winner's school; Four (4) Additional Finalist Prizes of $500 each & knife set
Student Contest Flyer. To enter the Student Category, you must be a student at a professional culinary school and submit proof of current enrollment.

Contest Entry Period
Contest entry begins March 1, 2015. Entries must be received by June 6, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. (ET)
Recipes will be judged using these criteria: Creativity/Originality, Accuracy of Recipe/Methodology, and Flavor

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS CONTEST. Entrants may submit up to three recipes in one of the two categories. Each recipe must be submitted separately. Recipes may be submitted for any menu part: appetizer, soup, salad or entrée. Contest open only to residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., 18 years old or older.
