Recipe entries are now in the hands of our judges! Entrants submited up to three (3) original recipes that showcase Maple Leaf Farms duck in an appetizer or first course dish for a chance to win one of these great prizes in one of two categories.
Chef Category: Grand Prize $10,000; Four (4) Additional Finalist Prizes of $1,000 each
Chef Contest Flyer. To enter the Chef Category, you must be an executive chef, sous chef or lead line cook in a restaurant, catering company or non-commercial foodservice establishment. Distributor chefs, retail market chefs, personal chefs and culinary instructors are also eligible and invited to participate.
Student Category: Grand Prize $5,000; Four (4) Additional Finalist Prizes of $500 each & knife set
Student Contest Flyer. To enter the Student Category, you must be a student at a professional culinary school and submit proof of current enrollment.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS CONTEST. Entrants may submit up to three recipes in one of the two categories. Each recipe must be submitted separately. Contest open only to residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., 18 years old or older.
