Ingredients


1 lb Ground Duck Meat


2 1-lb Cans Stewed Tomatoes


2 8-oz Cans Tomato Sauce


3 Cups Water


1 Cup Red Wine


2 10-oz Pkgs Frozen Mixed Vegetables


1 Envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix


2 Heaping Teaspoons Brown Sugar


1/3 Cup Macaroni, any kind


2 Bay Leaves


1 Teaspoon Celery Salt


1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Share this recipe

1. In large deep saucepan, lightly brown the duck meat. (Use a little oil if necessary.)


2. Stir in rest of ingredients, combining well. Simmer, partially covered for 20 minutes. Serve with warm crusty bread. Can be frozen.

This was simple and amazingly good. I did however use fresh veggies: carrots & celery in first, put on boil to quickly cook and soften then added yams, and 10 minutes before I was ready to serve I put in broccoli. This added The cooking time but it also really brought out the wine flavour.
