BBQ Duck

Enjoy spicy barbecue sauce with duck without turning on your grill. Simply bake on an oven rack and add sauce.

1 cup Prepared BBQ Sauce (your favorite brand)

2 Tbsp. Chopped Onion

1 tsp. Minced Garlic

1/2 tsp. Fresh Green Chilies with Seeds, finely chopped

2 tsp. Fresh Lime Juice

1 Maple Leaf Farms Whole Duck

1. Combine BBQ sauce, onions, garlic, chilies and lime juice in saucepan. Over medium heat, bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and refrigerate, if not used soon.

2. Follow package directions for roasting duck.

3. When duck is cool, cut duck into quarters. Remove back and rib bones, if desired.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place quarters on rack in a shallow pan; brush with BBQ sauce. Bake for 15 minutes, basting with BBQ sauce frequently.
