Brandied Raspberry Sauce

12 Ounce Pkg Frozen Raspberries

3/4 Cup Sugar

2 Tablespoons Cornstarch

1/4 Cup Brandy

1. Combine raspberries and sugar in medium saucepan. Dissolve the cornstarch in the brandy in a small bowl. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the raspberries until well blended. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and bubbles, about 5 minutes. Do not over cook.

2. Cool sauce to room temperature. Store in a tightly covered container until needed.

Really good with a dash of cayenne or splash of Thai chili sauce to brighten up the flavor. Not much, just a splash of sauce or a pinch of cayenne.
