Merlot Sauce

Serving Size {2 Servings}


2 Teaspoons Roasted Shallot

1/2 Cup Merlot Wine

4 Ounces Demi-Glace de Canard

1/2 Teaspoon Honey or Molasses

To Taste Salt and Pepper


Share this recipe

Reduce Merlot and shallot in saucepan to two tablespoons. Add Demi Glace. Add honey. Simmer 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Note: A small sprig of rosemary or thyme can be added to wine reduction for additional flavor.
