Duck Bacon Green Bean Casserole

A classic holiday recipe, but it's made EVEN BETTER with duck bacon! This dish will take you about 45 minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz.Duck Bacon,Defrosted
  • 2 lbs. Fresh Green Beans,Trimmed
  • 4 Cloves Garlic,Minced
  • 1 Shallot,Finely Diced
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup French Fried Onions

Direction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Bring pot of water to boil. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes and place in ice bath.
  • Cut green beans in half.
  • Finely dice duck bacon slices.
  • In sauté pan on medium heat, fry diced duck bacon for 2 to 3 minutes with garlic and shallot.
  • In large casserole dish, combine duck bacon sauté mixture with cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and 2/3 cup fried onions. Mix well.
  • Bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle remaining fried onions and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes and serve.
