Peri Peri Duck Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1/2 Medium Red Onion, chopped
  • 3 Jalapeno Peppers, roughly chopped
  • 1 Cup Red Chili Peppers, roughly chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Fresh Basil
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil plus 1 Tbsp, divided
  • 6 cloves Garlic, roughly chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Direction

  • Cook Duck Wings from Frozen.Option 1: Air fryer - Place in air fryer in a flat layer. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes. Flip halfway through.Option 2: Pan Fry - Using a pan with 4-inch sides, pre-heat 2 inches of oil to 350 degrees F. Cook for 3 minutes, turn duck wings over, cook for another 3 minutes or until hot.
  • On medium heat, cook red bell pepper and onions in 1 Tbsp olive oil for 5 minutes.
  • In the food processor, pour cooked red bell pepper, cooked onion, jalapenos, red chili peppers, basil, oregano, paprika, pepper, olive oil, and garlic.
  • Pour mixture into sauce pan. Add lemon juice and apple cider vinegar and heat on medium high for 3 minutes.
