Duck Bacon Pasta Alla Vodka

A hearty and tasty dish! The duck bacon and creamy tomato vodka sauce balances the acidity of this dish perfectly. You can make it in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Duck Bacon,Defrosted
  • 12 oz. Egg Noodles
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • ½ cup Vodka
  • 2 cups Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Italian Seasoning

Direction

  • Prepare pasta according to package instructions with a pinch of salt. Cook until al dente. Drain and set aside in separate bowl.
  • Chop garlic and dice duck bacon.
  • Sear duck bacon in large frying pan on medium-high heat.
  • Once duck fat has rendered, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add vodka to pan, lower to medium heat and reduce by half.
  • Add tomato sauce. Bring to simmer and lower to medium-low heat.
  • While simmering, add heavy whipping cream and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add pasta and stir. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning to taste. Serve in bowls and enjoy!
