Duck Duck Bleu Crostini

Duck, bacon, bleu cheese, garlic and cream cheese is all you need to make these mouthwatering crostini! This savory appetizer is quick and easy to make - and oh so delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Bleu Cheese Crumbles
  • 8 oz.Duck Bacon,Defrosted
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese,Softened
  • 6 Cloves of Garlic,Minced
  • 1 French Baguette,Sliced

Direction

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and bake roast half duck for 15 to 20 minutes. Allow to cool.
  • In frying pan on medium-high heat, cook duck bacon for 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  • Shred roast half duck and dice duck bacon into bite size pieces.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • In large bowl, combine roast duck, duck bacon crumbles, cream cheese, bleu cheese crumbles, and garlic.
  • Brush both sides of baguette slices with duck fat and lay out on a large baking sheet. Top each slice with 1 to 2 tbsp. of duck mix.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
