Farmers Market Duck Pizza

A handcrafted pizza inspired by the flavors of the farmers market. It's topped with tender farm-raised duck, seasonal vegetables, and a blend of cheeses for an easy and fresh pizza.

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • ½ cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1 cup Farmer's Market Cheese
  • Morel Mushrooms for Topping (Dried or Fresh)
  • Cherry Tomatoes for Topping
  • ½ cup Parmesan
  • Basil for Garnish
  • Arugula
  • Semolina Flour
  • Chili Flakes

Direction

  • Preheat pizza oven. (or if using regular oven, preheat to 400 degrees).
  • Cut duck bacon slices into thin strips.
  • On a surface sprinkled with semolina flour, stretch your pizza to 12 inches round. Light flour the bottom of the pizza to prevent sticking.
  • Place your pizza on the “pizza peel” for the pizza oven, or on a pan for the regular oven. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce. Top with farmers’ market cheese, tomatoes, morel mushrooms, duck bacon, and parmesan .
  • Launch the pizza into the pizza oven and cook for 90 seconds. (If using regular oven, bake for 15-20 minutes.)
  • Top with basil and chili flakes.
