Ingredients
- 12 oz. Ground Duck
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp. oil
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. ginger, freshly grated
- 1 tbsp. hot sauce
- 4 oz. whole water chestnuts, finely diced
- 1 small bunch green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 head butter lettuce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Direction
- Preheat oil a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ground duck and onion in pan for 7 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and hot sauce. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in water chestnuts and green onions and cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- To serve, place several tablespoons of the duck mixture into the center of a butter lettuce leave. Serve immediately.
