Korean BBQ Duck Wings

Liv's take on Korean BBQ. This classic Korean BBQ recipe blends honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, with a little bit of gochujang for a delicious Duck Wing appetizer that's perfect for watching your favorite game.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Ginger, Minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame Seed Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Corn Starch
  • 1 Tbsp. Water
  • Optional - Scallions or sesame seeds for garnish.
  • 1 Tbsp. gochujang

Direction

  • Cook Duck Wings from Frozen.Option 1: Air fryer- Place in air fryer in a flat layer. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes. Flip halfway through.Option 2: Pan Fry- Using a pan with 4-inch sides, pre-heat 2 inches of oil to 350 degrees F. Cook for 3 minutes, turn duck wings over, cook for another 3 minutes or until hot.
  • Whisk cornstarch and water together in a small bowl.
  • Toss wings in finished sauce.
  • Optional - top with scallions or sesame seeds.
  • In a sauce pan on medium-high heat, sauté garlic and ginger in sesame oil until fragrant. Whisk in soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice wine vinegar, gochujang, and red pepper flakes together in pan. Bring to a boil. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add cornstarch and water mix to pan with other ingredients and reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
