Sous Vide Duck & Waffles

Crispy duck is combined with a fluffy waffle to give your customers the best sweet and savory combination! Add this easy and quick (20 minutes) recipe to your menu lineup.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Waffle Mix
  • 1.5 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Melted Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • Berry Preserves for Garnish
  • Maple Syrup for Garnish

Direction

  • Preheat deep fryer to 350 degrees. Preheat waffle iron.
  • In a bowl, whisk together waffle mix, buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter. Let rest for 5 minutes for better consistency.
  • Lightly grease the waffle iron and pour in the batter. Cook until golden brown and crisp.
  • Place Sous Vide Duck Breast in fryer basket. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes. Let rest on a cutting board.
  • Thinly slice duck breast and serve 4-5 slices on top of each waffle with berry preserves and syrup.
