Ingredients
- 3-4 Cups Duck Fat
- 16 oz. Mozzarella Cheese
- 3/4 Cup Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
- ¼ Cup Milk
- 1 ½ Cups Panko Breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- ½ Cup Marinara
- Sea Salt to Taste
- Fresh Parsley for Garnish
Direction
- Cut mozzarella into 12 sticks or wedges.
- Place flour in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs with milk and garlic salt.
- In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each mozzarella piece in the flour, then egg mix, then panko mix.
- Freeze mozzarella pieces for 10-20 minutes.
- Place Duck Fat in medium saucepan and heat to 360 degrees.
- Fry each mozzarella piece in the duck fat for 1-2 minutes or until crispy brown. Fry in batches.
- Sprinkle with salt and parsley then serve immediately with marinara on the side for dipping.
