Duck Fat Fried Pickles

You can fry these up in minutes! It only takes about 15 minutes to make these delicious treats. Duck Fat + seasoning + pickles = happy taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 3 CupsDuck Fat,Defrosted
  • 16 oz. Jar of Pickle Chips,Drained
  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 Egg
  • Ranch for Dipping

Direction

  • HeatDuck Fatto 365°F in saucepan.
  • Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt in a bowl.
  • Whisk egg and buttermilk together in another bowl.
  • Dip pickle chips into egg and buttermilk mixture, then dredge them in flour mixture until fully coated.
  • Fry pickle chips in duck fat for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately with ranch on the side.
