Maple Candied Duck Bacon

Candied Duck Bacon is an amazing salad topper, pancake or cupcake topper, also great in cookies, chocolate or eaten as is.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp Real Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 Tbsp Whiskey
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)

Direction

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine sugar, syrup, whiskey and cayenne. Lay bacon out on parchment paper and brush with sugar mixture, evenly coating both sides of each strip.
  • Bake bacon for 15-20 minutes, turning over half way through.
  • Let cool on a wire rack, then serve and enjoy!
