Roast Half Duck with Homemade Orange Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Roast Half Duck
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme

Direction

  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake Roast half duck in a shallow baking pan for 15-20 minutes. For a faster cooking method: Air fry at 390 degrees for 12 minutes.
  • Make sauce while roast half duck cooks. In saucepan on medium heat, mix sugars, and salt, slowly stir in juice until smooth. Add in rosemary and thyme then lower to a simmer.
  • Simmer until transparent and thickened - about 10 minutes. Slowly add in cornstarch and simmer for 3 more minutes.
  • Remove fresh herb springs.
  • Serve on top of roast half duck.
