Ingredients
- 4 Duck Breast
- 2 oranges
- 1 bunch Scallions
- 1 Cup Orange Juice
- ½ cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp.. Honey
- 6 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tbsp. Ginger, Minced
- 8 Wooden Skewers, soaked or metal skewers
Direction
- Dice the Duck breast into 2” chunks.
- Mix the orange Juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Marinate the diced duck breast in this mixture for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Cut the oranges into 1” thick quarter slices. Slice the green onions into 1-2” long pieces.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Take the duck out of the marinade and save remaining marination.
- In a sauce pan on medium high heat, bring the marination mixture to a boil, then bring down to a simmer for 5-10 minutes until a glaze forms.
- Thread the marinated duck, orange slices, and green onions onto the skewers.
- Grill the duck kebabs for about 8 minutes, turning frequently to make sure the skin gets nice and crispy.
- Brush the glaze onto the duck kebabs and let cook for 2-3 more minutes
- Serve duck l’orange kebabs with the remaining glaze on the side for dipping.
